I took my son's 1999 Toyota 4Runner, that I had purchased from a private seller, to be inspected...wheel alignment, oil change, etc. Kaufman aligned the vehicle,...4 days later both ball joints on the drivers side collapsed.
For a vehicle as old as this one, they should have "shook" the vehicle, inspected the ball joints as well as other parts when aligning the vehicle. Another mechanic said the vehicle should have never been able to be aligned. Wrote the company headquarters about my dissatisfaction, the company NEVER responded. I had to call them 3 months later for a response.
The response "Not our problem". Not only were they never going to respond to my letter as professionals, they refuse to reimburse me the cost of repairing the ball joints.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
