Don't ever use Kauffman Tire
*** Poor Service!!!
On 4.28.18, I brought my car in for brakes. I was told I needed front brakes and rotors.
I bought both. When I got home, I realized I need it front tires. Pissed at this point because the tire shop did not acknowledge that while changing the brakes. So I came back on the following Saturday to get two tires that was rotated and put on the back.
Within that week the back passenger tire started making creaking sounds and I had a flat tire. I put air in it, then came back to change it on 5.12.18. While patching the hole, they told me the creaking sounds came from my trunk. They also told me I need it back brake pads.
This is *** service. 1. There was no mention of tires or back breaks during my initial visit.
2. I was insulted when told s creaking sound came from my trunk.
Ruined my wheel
In april 2016, as I was getting my car ready for a trip upnorth, I brought my vehicle to kaufmann in valdosta, ga for 2 new tires. They damaged the wheel (rim).
They even stated right on the receipt, they did it and would replace. Put new tire on old rim from spare due to damage.
Shame on me, life got busy, and I didnt get back to them until 11 mos later, when I had an incident with a tire sensor. The manager, Steve, assured me they would make it right. He lied.
They refuse to do anything, wheel is ruined, vehicle is showing signs of drive damage from having to use that wheel for a while, and kaufmann....now mavis tire, says they wont do anything to fix it.
DO NOT USE KAUFFMAN/MAVIS TIRE. THEY REFUSE TO BE HRLD RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE THEY CAUSE!

Not the Kauffman they used to be
This took a few service cycles at the Mavis/Kauffman center near me to sink in but something is just off now. I am / was a frequent flyer for tires on all my kids cars, wife, and myself for quite a while and spent several 1000$ here. Had some brake work done about 6 months or more ago and it took forever and then noticed a tool mark on my door which was clearly mechanic induced. I even noticed when this tech raised my car up on the lift that he had not adjusted his rails to keep from contacting the front quarter panel on my Solara. I think that set him off and it took 3 hours to replace pads and do an oil change.
Ok, I write this off as wrong guy, wrong day.
Then, lately, with several tire buys and oil changes, I realize that I am no longer dealing with the people I have been accustomed to at Kauffman and the new people don't seen to have the customer service level even close. Now, you are lucky if they answer the phones in 3 minutes.
The kicker is, now, after a very recent road side hazard repair that took two days, and an oil change that was questionable, they don't even reset your oil change light or put a sticker on your window stating you've be changed and when the next is due.
This is a management problem and you will find the trickledown in quality of goods and service to be maddening. I am looking elsewhere.
Too bad, as this was a local family owned and run company that sold out.

Alignment
i just left Kauffman from getting an alignment. before i took it there, the car drove in a straight line without pulling in any direction.
upon leaving, i notice immediately, when i got on the hwy, that it was pulling to the right, as though i were changing lanes... i looked at my papers when i got home and i see that both my front and rear passenger side are still out of spec... i will return tomorrow to see if they will correct the issue.. as of now,..
im very disappointed..... my car is not lowered... i have bran new tires. The reason for the alignment was because i had two front axles and wheel hubs replaced...
no broken or worn joints or mounts... why would u not put a car in spec if there is no issue with components...???

I took my 2015 mustang to the store in Lilburn,Ga to replace a tire,After I had made an appointment it took over 2 hrs. The rim was damaged it will not hold air.
The manager told me his boss has to make the call on how to fix the problem After 1 week still no resolve. I have 4 automobiles they will not get any more of my money. So I need 100 words for you to see this.
Ok. My wife & I have been with Kauffman tire for a lot of years,mistakes have been made in the past, when that happened we had no problem getting it resolved.Now to be done this way I think is very wrong of Kauffman tire.

Store manager Ken decides to give my boyfriend Marcel Terla a few pain pills called percocets at work today because lastnight Marcel went to Northside hospital for a broken tooth and in pain ..
Marcel got ibuprophen 800
And antibiotics for it .
Marcel has note from dr to have off today but still chose to go in an open the store.
My biggest issue here is ANY of your people DRUG TESTED ?
And if so .... Do these people who run your stores have scripts to be on these heavy pain pills .
I made my boyfriend marcel terla give them all back to ken because its a felony to carry pills without a script !

Couple days or so ago, i went to Kauffman tire off of Eagles Landing road in Stockbridge,GA because my heat wasn't working. The mechanic told me that i needed to get a new radiator, two new thermostats, coolant flush, cap, and hoses replaced.
After getting all of that replaced, i drove my car off the lot that same day and the front of my car started smoking. I took my car back to kauffman tire and the mechanic told me that it was old coolant fluid that dropped when they were fixing my car. Couple days or so later my heat was no longer working. Tried taking it to the same shop by driving and my car overheated.
So i had to call the tow truck to take me from Loganville to the Stockbridge Kauffman tire off of Eagles Landing. The Assisted Manager tried to get me to take it to another shop when i told him over the phone how he had a problem. Got to the shop, told the Assistant Manager my dilemma and let him know he is going to pay the bill for the tow truck driver. He paid in cash then the same mechanic who replaced my part in the first place told me a hose was cracked.
My whole thing is that the mechanic should have checked that in the diagnostic he ran when he came up with everything in the report that needed to get replaced.
So basically he did a *** poor job that ended up getting me stranded, inconveniencing me. "Kauffman Tire, you all need to get a lid on matters quick before you all lose business and have to close permanently".
Horrible will never return

Idiot, how did you not know your tires were bad ? Are you the rare blind driver ?
Had they offered you new tires, you'd be carping that they tried to sell you something you didn't ask for ! This entire scenario is you own rude, ignorant fault ; then you have the gall to use filthy language in your post.
Are you embarrassed because you are oblivious ?Or, are you just an ignorant fool who expects everyone else to hold your hand ? I feel sorrow and pity for those who must deal with you at any level.
